Tarsila de Moura Figueiredo

PhD Researcher

I am Tarsila de Moura Figueiredo. I obtained my diploma in Dentistry from the University of Brasília, Brazil, and specialized in Periodontology at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Currently, I am finishing a Master’s degree in Health Sciences, Major in Genetic and Molecular Epidemiology, at Erasmus MC, the Netherlands. In September 2023 I started working as a PhD at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Erasmus MC.

My hobby is playing the flute. I played in the military band of my school in Brazil for most of my childhood. After university, I have been too busy to play it regularly. But, I still enjoy playing it. I also enjoy watercolor and doing crafts, such as macramé.
