3D Shaper

3D shaper is a software that transforms regular 2D bone images of the hip captured with Dual X-Ray Absorptiometry (DXA) into detailed 3D models, to visualise bone shape and density, measure cortical surface density and volumetric trabecular density. It eliminates the need for more expensive and time-consuming scans, reducing radiation exposure and scan times. This software is thought to enhance the effectiveness of DXA (Dual energy X ray Absorptiometry) scans, possibly offering clinicians advanced insights into bone structure without the need for additional radiation (3D-Shaper).
