I’m Jiawei Li, from Heilongjiang, China. My favorite sport is ping pong and I have been playing it since I was 8 years old. I love keeping animals and I have a very cute cat which has been my companion for 10 years. I graduated from Shandong University with master’s degree of surgery and doctor certificate. Then I became an orthopedic surgeon majoring in degenerative diseases of spine and osteoporosis. Now I’m working as PhD candidate here and my projects are epidemiology studies about muscle and bone. I’m also working with DXA, pQCT, jumping plate and handgrip in the Rotterdam study and Generation R study, such as data collecting and storage, technicians training and devices maintenance.
