The Erasmus Optical Imaging Centre (OIC) offers advanced optical imaging modalities, including:

1. Inverted confocal microscopes for functional imaging (time lapse, FRAP, FRET, FCS)
2. Superresolution microscopy (SIM, STED, SMLM, rescan, TIRF, 4Pi)
3. Upright confocal microscopes for fixed samples and slide scanning

OIC also provides education at BSc, MSc, and PhD levels. It organizes annual courses for Nanobiology students, intensive one-week courses for Research Masters, and a yearly course for PhD students and post-docs, involving expert lectures and hands-on microscopy sessions.
